		<description>Welcome to the Bluegrass!  i just stumbled across your blog and happily added it to my reader.  

One way to stay in touch with some of Lexington&#039;s homeless men during the winter is through Room in the Inn.  Area churches take turns sharing a hot meal with and providing overnight accommodations to about 14 homeless men.  Two men from whichever congregation is hosting that night stay overnight with the guests, and I know our congregation - First United Methodist in Lexington - sometimes has to scramble to get volunteers to stay overnight.  FUMC could get you plugged in if that&#039;s where your heart leads (http://www.1stumc.org).  I&#039;ve had dinner with our guests a few times and getting to know them is a real blessing.
